I haven't been in my sewing room since I got back. We are working on renovating the last room in our home, the living room. Currently, we have the walls primed for paint, after tearing out 1970's something bad wood paneling. We are almost finished rocking the new fireplace. I mud the stone, my DH places it on the fireplace. Hopefully will get back in there soon. I have lots o scraps for 1" squares to make! woo hoo!
sorry, I thought I had responded, but I haven't! I had a blast too, glad to meet you! Can't wait to see when spring retreat is and will it be at the same facility? I truly enjoyed my time and the making of new friends! With a common goal! Chocolate and quilting, go hand in hand. Spring retreat? Snickers cake....yum, yum, yum.
Hey Robin! It's Stephanie here! I sure enjoyed meeting you at the retreat. Please accept my friend request so we can keep in touch! I totally enjoyed the retreat and meeting your mom, as well. Your work is lovely, as is hers. I would like to personally say thank you for all of your efforts in setting up the retreat, I know that is very time consuming and many, many details to organize. Can't wait for spring retreat!
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Hi, Robin, I have looked at the email and am trying to decide if I can go or not. I have a class with Nancy Crowe on the 14th here in Vancouver. Also our Washougal group is planning a retreat and we hoped to have it in September - would be much like the retreats at Long Beach, but no shop without quite a drive. There are 3 of us who are planning for a shop in Washougal in future, but cannot say when it will happen for sure. Take care and tell your mom is said "hi".
Hey, Robin, good to hear from you! I have a photo that pops up every so often on my screen saver of you walking across the room at the Super 8 with an armload of quilts, and it makes me smile. It seems too strange to not have a beach retreat in the future! Need to get something going! We have a new Best Western opening in a few months here in Camas... We'll Marilee in charge, that'll git 'r dun!
Take care, Kathy
