I know absolutely nothing about quilting, but I sooooo want to learn. I am hoping that I can watch all you ladies and take notes. I am buying some fat squares and fat eighths on faith along with some of the books that you all are using and will take a stab at the projects. I do some sewing for my little girl and myself, but nothing fancy! I look forward to getting to know you all!
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Robin, I posted get well comments twice to you on the group page. When I click add comment, they show up but next time I look, they are not there. I hope you get this message. Take care of yourself and I will be praying for you as well as Steph. I haven't heard from her yet.
Love and Hugs, Dee
I'm so glad you want to be friends. The more help, the better we are.
Right now Hancock's has anti-pill fleece for $3.99 (it's usually $8.99). Also, free shipping if your order $ is enouigh. I just got a new sale paper and it is going on again, I think around Dec. 31. I'm not sure of the date. There are such pretty colors and I never could think what to do with it before. Love and Hugs, Dee
I just remembered I could get advice from Nancy's Notions on sewing projects and talked with them about the fleece. They told me to butt the edges up together and use a decorative stitch to sew them together. I want to make like a patchwork design and then a jacket. I asked if it would hold and was assured it would. She said just make it a wide decorative stitch. The jacket will be the same on either side. Love and Hugs, Dee
Thank you Robin for making me your friend. It is always good when sisters can be friends, too. So glad to have you as part of our merry band. You have such a tender heart and gentle way about you. God bless you and your family.....Dolly
