About Me
I've been piecing for about nine years now. My favorite type of piecing is CRAZY. I think I like this type of piecing, because it isn't so precise that it drives me CRAZY. I also like it because the squares, and projects I have made with this method always turn out so beautiful. I also like other types of piecing including applique, and watercolor with applique. Mostly, I enjoy the piecing, because it gives me time by myself.
Hobbies and Interests
applique, hand quilting, embroidery, crazy quilting, general sewing
My pets are awesome!
Buddy a lab/pitbull mix, and Mandy an adorable black & tan dachshund, and a cockateil named Nickie

Joined a quilt guild today.

Hi Everyone, I'm Rosie and I joined the local quilt guild today. I think I will enjoy it, the ladies seem to be very nice and I have been getting some good tips from a few of them. Don't feel very well this afternoon. Seem to not feel good a lot more of the time these days. You can't be a sissy when you grow older. Aches and pains all of the time. Gets to be routine. I guess we just learn to live with it. Have a great quilt day. :)

If you do decide to start your own business, try Legal Zoom.com. I used them to incrporate and save a bunch of money. No sales yet on my site. Hpefully in the next month or so it will be higher on the search engines so people will start seeing it. I just sold another ornament on E-bay. Every little bit helps get me noticed. I sure hope you are having wonderful weather like we are. Its in the 70's, nice sprin weather. Deb

You sound like me always thinking of new things to make. My pile gets bigger and bigger. I know I"ll never get to half of the stuff I want to do. Im really glad I got brave and started myown business however. I really feel good about it. I ordered magnetic car signs to help advertise. Put my business card up at Joanns. Every little bit helps. Good luck with your craft show stuff. I love going to those things, but there yougo wth more ideas and more rojects. Never ending battle. Deb

The quilt show is at the Tampa convention center. Real large, 3 days. I'm taking one class to improve my hand quilting skills and another on vintage embroydery. A friend is going with me one of the days. We had a great time last year. Went to different classes then shared what we learned. I just finished making a tooth fairy ornament complete wth a tooth charm that open to hold a tooth. It is adorable. Not up on my web site yet. I'll get photos up this weekend. Plan to give one to my dentist to display perhaps I can get some sales out of it!
Take Care Deb

Hi - Ive been busy getting things finished up on my site. It is dreamakerquiltedcreations.com. I'v got 80% of the different ornaments I have made listed on the site and most of the bugs seem to be worked out. Now I can take my time and go back and reword the descriptions so they don't sound so cookie cutter. I would like each one to sound more original. I'm going to The original Seing and quilt expo March 20-21. I have gone fo the last 3 years and I'm hooked. The first year I did not take any classes. Last year I took 2 days of classes and plan the same this year. My problem is I want to buy everything and ave no time to do any of the stuff I buy. I did make 2 applique sweatshirts last year afterwards. One has a kookie lighthouse one it. The other has a featherweight machine, buttons and an old doily my grandmother crochet. Off to bed, enjoy chatting with you.

I rlly have a feeling the photos don't do your work justice. They are beautiful, You have a knack for crazy quilting. I have a bunch of left over blue jeans parts I eventually want to make into a crazy quilt. So many projects so little time. Busy right now trying to get my web sit up and running. Take a look and let me know what you think. I just wrote up the front page. Dreamakerquiltedcreatons.com I'm not a computer wiz so it is slow going.

I've ben buying stuff from connecting threads for years. So glad they started this network. It is nice hearing from like minded women.
I think this country is going to be seeing a lot more of the barter system. We just paid for some electrical work with a grandfather clock. However it will be really hard for me to part wth any of my quilts.
Your blue quilt is beautiful. Look forward to staying in touch with you. Deb
