About Me
I'm a retired Nurse Practitioner, married with 4 children and 12 grandchildren, who's been quilting for about 12 years. I started when we lived in Russia Far East and 100% cotton was impossible to find locally. I had no internet service to order fabric so my first attempt at quilting was truly a scrap project. I have never joined an Internet group before of any kind. Here goes!

old but new

I'm new to this site or any blog. My motivation is an almost finished queen size quilt and my miscalculation-not the first-on fabric quantity. I am looking of any quantity of "cabbage roses light tan" that was part of the Irresistible Indigo collection by Connecting Threads. It has been discontinued. Not sure how this works-like I said -new to blogging-one way to find out. Help... Sarah--freezing in Alabama

I sent you a friend request so we can send messages more easily! I guess I'm ready for this weekend. Supposed to snow tomorrow and I have to drive my DH to Atlanta for his postop appointment. Hopefully it won't be too dangerous out there.

The biggest scrap piece I have is about 4" wide x 20" long, and then I have a few other small pieces. I would have to measure them to see if they would be helpful at all to you.

I've got lots of work to do, so if you don't hear back from me , don't worry. I'll check back for messages as soon as I can! Stay warm!
