Who am I??? I'm a farmers daughter. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa many many years ago.... when I was 4 years old my parents moved to a southern IA farm, smack dab in the middle of three small towns (Murray, Thayer and Lorimor). I have lived in IA all of my life and currently reside near Story City on our farm named after our first Belgian Draft horse Sunny, Sunny's Prairie Lane Ranch. I am also a sister, a wife, a mother to 3 grown children, grandmother to 6 precious children ages 17, 15 5, twins ages 29 months and 20 months. I am also a friend, a gardener, quilter, cook, scrapbooker, animal lover and the list goes on and on. I have too many projects started, enough fabric to clothe a whole nation and too many quilts in my head just hoping that they will get my attention soon. A current project that is hard to put down is my scrap quilt using English paper piecing and the hexagons are 1/2 inch ones. The fabric scraps for this one are 1 1/2 inch squares. Enough about who I am..... I can't wait to chat with all of you soon. Keep on Keeping on.......Sassy Jo
I will be there early, too since I'll be spending Wednesday night in Altoona. My work friends are going on Thursday, so I'll be 'meandering' with them! I'm anxious to meet you (although I must have seen you at Ben's funeral) and Lori. I surely have seen her since she lives around Adel. My # is 515-210-2532.
Cindy, Can't wait to see you! Keep an eye out for me...I'll probably have a pink shirt of some kind on and a pink visor with some bling. I'll be carrying my IQ bag made of Halloween fabrics....Love your quilts!
