Sharon, I'm so glad that you've been able to get back to the "fun things". Your projects are very nice! Thank you for posting pictures and letting us know that you've done so. You have a lot of talent!
Sharon---I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Mine is terminally ill also, although not with cancer. He has a lung disease that is slowly diminishing his capacity to breathe. It's getting worse all the time and he can't do much of anything without gasping for air. As you know, it's so hard to watch them suffer. I too have a hard time fitting in so maybe we can support each other.
Hi Sharon. Thank you for the comments on my quilts. I too like to make star blocks, probably because there are so many varieties of them.
You asked about my quilt "Springtime at the Cabin." Yes, it is my original design. One of these days I will get the directions written for it. You also asked about the appliqué on it. On this one I did fusible, that I finished with a satin stitch.
