My mom drug me to a quilt class 7 years ago after I had wrist fusion surgery. I hate sewing but fell in love with quilting by the end of the first class. I've been quilting ever since. I enjoy the challenge of paper piecing and am working on my first Stack 'n Whack quilt. When I'm not quilting, I also counted cross stitch and make jewelry. I have always been a "crafty" person, having tried everything from decoupage to tee shirt painting to porcelain dolls at one time or another. I share my workspace with 5 cats who, you can tell by my photos, are spoiled rotten and pretty much rule the roost!
The cats are adorable. I have four myself. They aren't quite as interested in my work as yours are. We also have two dogs so there is pet hair on everything I make. I also want to say the quilts are very nice also.
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
