Wildflower quilt

I have had the pattern for at least a year...maybe two so if a group starts up, I am in. It will help me stay motivated with embroidery. I have been working on Jenny Haskins ambience quilt for about 2 years. I only have 2 more blocks and the setting pieces, but I cannot get motivated to finish it.

I recently bought the big quilters hoop for my Bernina. I have not tried it. Anyone on here use it?

Hi Sherry! Think these birds can't cut, huh?! One tries to make off with my scissors every time I have my head turned! The good thing is that he can rip out stitches faster than I can with a seam ripper, so I put him to work occasionally! And they both love to get a whole spool of thread to take apart, so I buy old junk at garage sales for their own little sewing kits!

Sherry this is really weird. I have a girlfriend who sent me Teddy Pruetts website just last week. I thought that name rang a bell. My friend Sharon does Great Pyrenees rescue and knows Teddy and Sharon was telling me about her and sent me her website. Two people in one week about the same website. Wow!! Thanks for the info Sherry!!

Hi Sherry~
I am self taught (about 10 yrs) with traditional and hand quilting, but I did take a class with Marilyn Belford to learn how to draw faces, her way. She has a book that you can purchase called 'Portraits for Fabric Lovers' (at lulu.com) and if you look at B J Elder's page you will see the quilt she did just by reading the book.
Thanks for your kind words and comments!
Gwen
