Hi, does anyone have a review on a rotary blade sharpener? The blades are really expensive here so I was wondering if they did a good job or not.
Thanks in advance!

Good morning,
I woke up waaaaaaay too early this morning and in my boredom, I came across this really interesting way to make your kitchen or dining room into a machine quilting table:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Machine-Quilting-Table-Leaf/
Basically you build a new leaf for your kitchen table, but include a dropped box for your machine so your quilts have plenty of…

I have a older bro lives NE Calgary, he was fed up with living MB. He had no work and moved there to find work.. As an accountant it took him time to establish in Calgary, now he loves it there, found himself some people to visit. The country he likes. I get leary at any huge city..
I bought Connecting threads blade sharpener the lower price one, works for sharpening, the casing sharpener sits in may not last long it's made of plastic. As for cutter mats, I bought a few on sale really good price, but found they peel and chip faster than higher price ones.
I was just wondering how Carol is making out with this terrible winter an if she is in a house yet? Keep warm it is so cold here I haven't been out sice Sat and don't want to go Take care Andrea
Have you heard from Carol ?
Thanks for the nice comment on the DWR quilt, Sherry. DD is pretty excited about it, which makes it all worth while. I'm looking forward to working on something else for a change!
You are welcome, you did a great job on it. Both of the ones I made are gone. One was auctioned and the other I gave away!! Just wish I had a steady enough hand to do the ying and yang's in the center of each square!!
Hi Sherry,
Looked at all your quilts! Great work! You have been doing a lot of baby quilts etc. I love that little baby in the blue sleeper. He or she? I assumed he.
Did that dog claim your Autumn Tints Quilt? I love the strong diagonal with the white squares.
Me again Sherry. Connecting Threads is a great place to buy kits. They are not too pricey and they are overly generous with the fabric they include. Shipping is not a big deal as it is with some US companies.
Next time you come south - give us a shout.
Hi Sherry - I didn't want to comment on the main site so opted to write to you personally instead. It was Earthly Goods where they were so darn rude. That is not the first time. The first time I put it down to someone having a bad day but twice is more than enough. There are too many other shops where I enjoy shopping. Lori's Country Cottage in Sherwood Park is one, Quilting Essentials in St. Albert, there is another one on 137th Ave at Manning Crossing but the name escapes me.
If you have a good experience at Earthly Goods then by all means shop there. This is why I don't like to name the shop in a public forum.
I had a look at your quilts while here - well done.
