Hi Shirley, Nice to hear from you. I have been looking in my "Crystal Ball" but so far I haven't seen a Diamond for me anytime soon. lol I watched the vidio from Houston when they unveiled it and I drooled all over my keyboard. I envy you having that beauty. I like the long bed on it. I don't really NEED another machine, I have 8. I have an old Kenmore that I use when working on leather, or heavy fabric, a 12 lb Janome I take out to classes, a white serger that I take out to classes as it's not as heavy as the H/V my two H/Vs a J.C Penny a Singer and another Kenmore that was given to me. I'm like a dumping ground for sewing mahchines that people don't use and want to get rid of. They are nice machines and I use them when giving classes. I take in alterations and use these other machines for most of the work so I won't put the miles on my computerized machines.
I can't imagine what H/V will come up with next. I thought when I bought mine that nothing could be better and then came the SE and now the Diamond. The next one will have a set of keys to drive while you sew. lol
Hi Shirley, I envy your job. I have two Husqvarna sewing machines. D1 I got in 2001 and love it and the 910 serger. If I had your job I would be in the poor house as I would have to have that new Diamond. lol It's a good thing I live a hundred miles from my dealer as I might be more tempted to go overboard with my spending.
