Hi Sooz! After looking at my page, you can see why I loved the photo of your two cats cuddling. Mosby, the black cat and Mondego, our tiger tabby, are litter brothers that we adopted last year. They were so devoted to each other and would cry for each other, that the vet felt that they had to be adopted together to the same home. I had no problem with that and they are an absolute joy. Characters....but an absolute joy! Elizabeth

My son's cat (male) also adopted a baby. A very young skinny stray came along, and he cuddled and nurtured her and asked them to feed her. Now she is a healthy terror to their household. Funny how nature takes over.

Hi Sooz! Our worst rain usually comes in the Spring, between April & June. It's generally warm mid 70's to mid 80's at this time of year. It does cool down when the rain is coming down, but when the sun comes out in a day or two it gets very steamy & humid. We all have central AC's in our homes & apartments and all our cars have a/c. No matter, I won't live anywhere else. I LOVE my big city!

I don't have anyone's actual projects, but I have thread on wooden spools - some of which look handmade, needles and pins in their original packages, scissors, thimbles, buttons and all kinds of goodies that belonged to a cousin who taught Home Ec later in her teaching career. (She died about 10 years ago at the age of 92.) I think some of things I have must be close to, if not older than, 100 years. I'm really proud to have these treasures!

When is a Gift not a Gift...

I have a god-daughter who's going to be 11 in May. Since I quilt, I looked for a project to make for her. I also have a younger brother who'll be turning 50 in June, so I had thought, "hey, 50 is big; maybe he would like a quilt!
