My display picture is my remodeled sewing room. It was a gift from my husband (yes, I know, I am pretty lucky to have him!). I try to sew for an hour before leaving for the office each day. Work sure interferes with playtime!

Sue, Thanks for the compliment on my carpenter's star. I did not quilt it myself, but sent it out to a pro. I see from your room that you have a longarm - maybe I should hire you!! Love your Carpenter's star too, fall colors are my favorite. My pattern was all HST, no y seams in a pattern from Calico Carriage.
Oh my gosh..that quilt is so cool. At first I was sure that it was a scrappy quilt. When I get a few of these UFO finished I am going to make one of those. Thanks for the help! Jannis
Hey Sue! I was just catching up on the comment that you left on my wall. What kind of scappy quilt are you planning on making? I have been trying to go thru fabric and put things together to make a scrappy quilt. It has been a struggle for me...I have a major mental block when it comes to scrappy quilts. It is so hard for me to just put a bunch of different fabric together. How do you go about it? Do you have a certin color scheme in mind when you start? Jannis
Hello:
That was very sweet of you and very young for her. My brother died at the age 46 with a lung disease, a rare one that is something like COPD but it takes about fives years before your kidneys, etc. shuts down and a person dies. It is a rare gene on his father's side that effects males only. Science was starting to study it in the early 200s. Very sorry about your SIL.
You are welcome about the comments on your work and studio. It makes it more enjoyable when one has the proper place to work. I have a large room that I could do something similiar to you but I still have my rescue cats to contend with.
Sincerely, Paulette and Zoocrew
Well, now that you've described it, I'll give it a try! Let's remember, though, that I'm one who gets knots in her yarn when she tries to crochet. Hopefully, I'll be lucky since I won't have to have a crochet hook in my hand. :-)
Your work studio is great. I can see how you would hate to go to work. Your husband does deserve a hug hug or two.
I enjoyed looking at all of you quilts. Is your grand child named Lily?
I have one named Lily that was born Feb. 13, 08.
Thanks for displaying all of your work.
