Heidi, The "Are you my Mama" quilt was a monthly mini-quilt I made when I lived in NC and belonged to the Forsythe Quilters & Piecers Guild in Winston/Salem. They gave a topic or item for each month. That month was a chicken. My image is of a chick hatching out of an Easter egg. Will try to get a photo up this evening, of it/
Hi Sue...I was just looking at your pictures. You have some really nice work here. I see you do embroidery. Is it by hand or machine? I'm down here in heaven for two weeks then back to the frozen waste land. Within a year I hope to be here full time.
Hi Sue...welcome to the Florida blog. I am in Fort Myers. I am here as much as possible, but I do back to Massachusetts a lot. Too much for my liking. When I can send you a message I will explain.
Sunshine and Stinchin'...I love both of them. I like to quilt and embroider. I so my piecing on a Janome 6600, quilting on my Gammill and embroidery on my Brother 650e. I recently purchase the Brother and I'm having trouble with needle one, so that bummed me out. I have to get it to the dealer.
You have some beautiful quilts. Hope to hear from you soon on the blog.
It was nice talking with you last night. Everyone is so friendly. Who would have ever thought we would become friends with people all over the world. I love your birdhouse quilt. Your kitty looks like the last one I had. I called mine Panther. He died shortly after I got the birds so I haven't had a cat in over 15 years. I had six birds but all but one has died over the years. I'm down to a parrot and a "naughty" dog. lol She is calming down but she is a Holy Terror when we go out. She will turn a year old on Wed. I look forward to our next chat with you and hopefully Norma will be on board to join us.
Hi Sue ,thank you for the friend request, Your work is lovely. if i had any finished i would post them, i have done only 3 and they are on going, but i have done loads of rag quilts.. but i still call myself a Newbie Norma
