I've been quilting for 20 years and sewing for over 40. Love to be challenged and always looking for new and interesting quilt classes. Have made well over 100 quilts and spend about 4-6 hours every day in my sewing room. Estimate that I have well over 10,000 yards of fabrics, most in 1/2 yard pieces or less. Like making quilts using lots and lots of fabrics. Right now, I'm cutting out strips for a Strip and Curves Class at my local quilt shop. Also like making jackets and bags.
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Feel free to fly that flock down here! :o)
I've only made a few of them. They are quite tedious. Sounds like I'll REALLY feel comfortable making them after the Underground Railroad. Enjoy your day!
Old City Quilts, 347 High Street. They are on the right side if you are drving towards the river. I would say Burlington Bristol is the bridge to take. The have some large quilting machines which they will teach you how to use and then you can rent them by hour to quilt.
I have the same Bernina. They are a dealer. I got mine there but really need to practice. Judy is the owner but I think she is out for a family leave of abence. The people there are very nice. Good luck if you take a trip there.
Hi Sue, your work is fabulous. There are a couple of us that would like to start an informal get together in between Lancaster and York. It would be nice if you could join us. Let me know your thoughts on the matter. Thanks Cheri
