For the most part I am self taught both in quilting and sewing. I owned a home dec and quilting store for about 5 years in our local Arts and Crafts community. Currently I'm the rebuyer at It's A Stitch, a quilt store in Humble, Texas. I purchase product for our 3 locations and web store.

Thank you for the nice comment about my tumbling blocks quilt. I gave it to my neighbor last night and she loved it. Please post your tumbling block quilt when finished I love seeing it in different colors and the black, red and white would be very interesting

Hi Debbie, Glad to meet you. Always nice to meet a sister in Christ. I've been saved since 12 but only began living the Christian life in 1976. "Suddenly" I realized that there is more to Christianity than the original surrender. Thank you for the comment you made about "Jesus shines through you". Hi Susan, Jesus shines through you and your are sure a proud gramma. I want to check out more later on this page and want to add you to my friends but have not idea how to do that. I am a christian single mom who lives in NY I have been saved for over thrity years now and have five children, five grandchildren and two great grand children. I am legally blind and love to quilt. Hi Maria,
Oh that is great. Maybe I can show you around the back! We really are much bigger than most people think. We have a "city" back there and that is where I work most the time. When I was the receiving clerk I used to check the fabrics in and I got to see them and be the very first to "fondle" them. I miss that part. My day was good...sorta down with a sinus thing and it's hard for me to talk but I managed. Our owner told me I sounded "pitiful" and that she had never seen me speechless but "your very close to it Susan." LOL Anyway, hope your evening is good and that your dinner was delicious. Hi Susan! I've been to It's A Stitch I believe sometimes last year! With my husbands work we travel a lot and I remember going in that shop. Oh and how I'd love to have the new 830 Bernina! One of these days maybe, just too much money to put out right now. Thank you for the well wishes. I'll let all my friends know what doc says tomorrow. So glad to have you as a friend!
