I didn't paper piece the stack and wack. How nice to be in Florida now. We have friends on the east coast of Fl. in Clearwater. My sister lived in Fl. for about 50 years. My niece wanted to come back to Ohio because of all of her grandchildren that she reallly wanted to get to know, so my sister is in a Nursing Home near Vermillion.
Well it's snowing here, so enjoy your sunshine.
Suz..Just noticed you belong to the English Paper Piecing Group. So do I. I saw your Stack and Wack quilt too. I have one in progress that I designed. Not too much to it, but I like it.
I also love to Applique. I like to do many different things, it keeps the brain in gear.
Hi Suzanne, I used paper piecing. I bought the paper pieces from www.paperpiecing.com They have patterns that contain the pieces you will need. It was hand work you do in front of a TV. Very calming and fun to design. If you want to or just pick the pieces at random. Another of those UFO's.
I noticed your civil war costumes. That must of been a lot of fun. Anything from that era fasinates me. I have heard of Seville. Not sure where it is, but must not be too far from here.
Hi Suzanne, you left me a message on Stack N Whack about joining the group. If you are just wanting to be a part of the group members sure please join us. If you are asking to take part in the stack n whack exchange, sign-ups ended on January 15th. I will say this, because you are experienced in sewing/quilting this should not be hard for you. If you can get your fabric together and get your blocks made and out the door to me before the end of February I see no reason why you cannot take part. That would just mean more different fabrics of blocks. Give me a shout back and we will go from there, how about that????
Suzanne, would love to have you join our group, Stack N Whack, Oh Sew Much Fun. I would love to pull the pic of your Stack N Whack Quilt and add it to our photo scan. We are starting a 4-Patch Stack N Whack Block Exchange and would love for you to join in it with us. Come check us out. Blessings, Linda Robertson
