- I love to make things!!! I have 3 adult children - one in NY, one in WI, and one in CO. No grandchildren yet. Promises of quilts and handknit sweaters have yielded nothing :-) My husband and I are in the final phase of pre-retirement. We recently built our retirement house (mostly ourselves) and now I'm ready to get back to having time for myself to pursue my love of sewing, quilting and knitting. I work crazy hours, but I work from home. My husband and I spend a lot of time with our church family and we are devout Christians and my husband serves in the Air National Guard as an Assistant Chaplain. My husband built me a quilting room that I don't spend enough time in. I included him in my picture since he is so supportive of my hobbies - I wouldn't have the awesome stuff I have without him. I would like to find some ladies that are interested in having some quilting friends and who quilt just because they like to. Nothing more.

- 2 great girls - Daisy 70 pound lab/shepard mix, Daffy 15 pound Jack Russel Beagle mix. Yes, it's fun to watch them play ! The little one is THE boss.

Weekend Quiltings
I would like to know if anyone out there is interested in coming to Vermont Valentine's Weekend for a color splash class? It's at Fletcher Farms in Ludlow. I went last year and had a blast! Most of the class last year were knitter's as well. There are plenty of quilt shops and yarn shops in the area. My husband came along (not to the class!) and went snowshoeing, book store browsing, etc and we meet some great folks at the B&B we stayed at.
