Too many WIPs to count. Not enough time to finish them all. A vow to not buy any more fabric, until I sew up some of what I have. Oh, but I just had to join one more BOM. Okay, maybe all of that is not just me - but you too.
I am blessed to have a wonderful family that understands or at least go along with my addiction. My kids sometimes make requests for projects that stretch my quilting limits. My hubby wants to know when I will enter something in a show. The dog just sits and waits for me to drop fabric on the floor that he can pick up and run around with.
Hobbies and Interests

My pets are awesome!
I am a dog lover! RIP, Shaka 1996-2011 (schnauzer). Our new baby is a red Doberman. He is still training us.
Hey Tanyel~ I'm glad the family liked the pizza casserole recipe. I tend to make a lot of casseroles these days; they are quick, easy and I have more time for other things. I will get a couple more together for you to try.
Hi, Thanks for the nice compliments on my quilting. I charge by the square inch, prices vary by what you want on it. I start at 2 cents a square in. and go up from there. I've never done any quilting for people out of my area other than my bosses sister who lives in Alaska and she transported it back and forth when she visited. I wouldn't rule it out if you are interested.
Wow Tanyel - I apologize for not responding. I have found that email messages I want are going to spam file and receiving messages I don't want. I totally missed your kind message checking up on me. Thanks I am doing well. Working part-time in addition to being a stay at home mom.. and in beginning stages of launching a quilt and doll biz selling mainly at fairs etc. Hoping to go online in the next year. How are you doing? I do read up on various boards but have not had time to chime in. I hope you're having a great summer so far!
How absolutely lovely to see you sitting in my mail box this morning. Yes I am improving slowly, its my stamina and energy levels that are low and very frustrating. I am the sort of person that does everything at break neck speak, I used to run not walk, well that has changed, but in the scale of things am doing really well. I have finished a few small things, but didn't have the concentration for anything major. I sent for the book by Marcia baker I think her name is, she is famous for tumbling blocks ... and it is really inspiring, but I forgot to order the 60 degree ruler she recommends, I have to spend another 50$for her to send it. I thought I would phone her, but have to get the timing right, I think there is a 7 hrs difference, if I cannot get it, will try and use another type that I can get here. I have had lots of visitors, that is lovely, but it also stops the sewing gene clicking in To place. To day there are 2 of my old school friends coming for afternoon tea, tomorrow two girls from the gym one is the fitness trainer coming over, she will be able to give me specific exercises to do during the recouping period.
Enough of me chatting on. I hope you are continuing doing some beautiful work and your family are well. The boys will have lots of extra curriculum activities to take them to I am sure, it all takes time.
