Tara, wish I were closer and I would help you out with the babysitting. I know how hard scheduling can be with kids and trying to be gone on weekends. DH and I used to have a business where we had to do that when the girls were in school, and we were relatively new in the area so didn't know a lot of people. Good luck with the sitter, but if not come see me. Rantoul brought back memories of living there when I was in jr hi and high school for 3 years; Dad was in the USAF. I loved it then but haven't been back in years other than just going through the area in traveling.
HI Tara, thanks for asking about the show address; it has been added in a new blog on my page. Apparently my brain was doing too much multitasking when I did that post. Hope to see you there; track me down and say hi as I should be there both days most of the time. You can ask whoever is on the entrance desk where I might be.
Tara: Well thats an interesting piece of advise. Most of the hand quilters seem to recommend the wool batting. I am keeping all this good information in mind as I continue to work with hand quilting and will pay more attention as I use different ones, which is better for what. Thanks so much for the input. Joyce
Welcome to the Quilt Frame. I did visit your website and its lovely. You have many reproduction fabrics which I love. I've been doing some Civil War reproduction quilts lately and always look forward to places to find that era fabrics. I also see that you sell quilt batting. Do you recommend the Wool batting for hand quilters. I do hand quilting only and am always looking for the best possible batting for my work. I'm sure we'll all have many questions for you and I hope you find this site a great encouragement to you as well. So glad to have you at "the frame." Joyce
Hi Tara - Didn't get your message until after I left Morris and didn't get to say hello. There were so many quilts to see and vendors to visit I am not sure I even got into your booth. Let me know of other shows you might be at. I hope the show was successful for you.
