We enjoy running a Bed and Breakfast out of our home! I've been addicted to quilting for almost 30 years! When I'm not working,
spending time with my Grandkids, who live nearby, teaching Sunday
School or doing bookkeeping, I am quilting!! I also love to walk with
my Granddog Buddy nearly everyday! Keeps us both young! I love this site, because I can be totally encouraged and motivated just by reading about and drinking in all the gorgeous creations displayed on your pages! Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Teresa, I'm happy to accept your friend invitation and thanks for the kind comments about my quilts. The Scrap Squad has been an adventure.....really fun but a little intimidating. The other 7 ladies, across the US and Canada, are just super ladies and so very talented. Most are professional quilters with longarms and years and years of professional experience. I do my own quilting on my domestic machine so it's not nearly as intricate as theirs. But I think the magazine wanted people of all skill levels represented in the squad. I call myself the resident model for "I might be able to this at home". LOL It's lots of fun and I'm learning a lot. Being required to work on a pattern different from any you've chosen in the past has been good for me too. The current one is so very different, but I like it! Unveiling, I believe, is March 29. I've seen some of the others....very cool!!!!! Keep in touch!
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Cellogirl, Thanks for the nice comment! B&B is somewhat of an adventure! We make new friends every year! Vancouver is a lot like SE Alaska! I enjoy taking scenery pictures. God made SE Alaska so beautiful and you don't need to look far to see His handiwork! Your dog is named Buddy just like mine, what kind is he? Have a great day, Teresa
Best wishes for a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I saw your georgeous landscape photo on the slide show--what magnificant scenery --and you have a great eye for photographs!! Your quilts are lovely--having a B&B must be quite an adventure!! I have a cousin living on the Kenai Penn. , but the closest we've been is Vancouver, B.C. We lived there for 13 years--loved the scenery!! PTL--He has made some wonderful places!! Best wishes--
Hi Teresa, I saw a comment on another persons page and noticed you we're asking about a pattern for the little purse pin cushions. I got mine from a tutorial from Boutique Nut Meg Designs:pretty little purse pincushion tutorial. I haven't looked at your pictures yet..There is alot of free patterns on that site and Quiltville site also. Barbara Donaldson
Hi Teresa! Hope you survived the bazaar! :0) I'm sure it was a crazy, busy, but fun-filled day.
Thanks for commenting on my "foggy morning" post. I just stopped by your page and then visited your web site. What a beautiful place in which to live! Isn't the variety of landscapes an amazing tribute to the Creator?
