Laurel Burch March Little

I decided to play with some stash while I wait for my March Kit to arrive and here's what I came up with.  It's just a top at the moment.  It measures the 14 1/2" that it should.   I really like it.  I did the 3-d dimensional FG,  a technique I love.

After a friend, seeing my newest flannel rag quilt, commissioned me to make a baby girl rag quilt for her upcoming grand nieces baby (in February).  SO I have it in progress and really like it.  Got an in progress pics to show you.  The center is sewn together.  The outside round is waiting to be sandwiched and added to the top.

UPDATE:   I finished it today.  It measures 38" x 46" and is just so lovely.  It's had one washing so know it will "rag" more with more…

Well,  it was actually finished last night but got it's first washing today.  It's so cozy in the extra cold weather.  The trick is gonna be to steal it from the cats!    It measures 44" x 52". …

Hi Thel, they are beautiful.

I looked at the pattern on Amazon and thought about ordering it, but then it would probably sit here till it was to late to make them.

Are you sure $2 each covers all your expenses for the materials plus your labor?

Glad you had a nice visit today with Bella. Bet your fur babies love having someone visit.

Hi Thel,

Thanks for friending me. Your offer to make the key fobs is very sweet, but I think I would need about 8 and that's too much to ask. I was googling some patterns and found one by Lazy Girl Designs. Did you get the pulls and zippers online?

I'm in the Hinsdale/Winchester area across the river from Brattleboro VT. We moved here from the Tampa Bay area of Florida. We love nature and now have 60 acres in the woods rather than a little lot in suburbia.

Thanks for the comment on my pictures Thel! I don't often get pictures of my projects because I don't have a camera. The other day my son-in-law set me up with an old smart phone so I can use it as a camera only, so hopefully I will be able to post more projects as they come along.

The pretty young lady in the Santa hat is my youngest, who is expecting (due date yesterday!).  The beautiful woman holding the pillow is my mom. I look very much like her. Love the color of her hair, but mine is going gray instead of the beautiful white of hers.

My avatar fur baby, had to put her down this past May, at 14 years old. She is the first pet I ever owned. I still miss her, but won't get another. Both of my daughters have dogs, so I still get puppy love :)
