I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 lively boys (Jon Sr 28, Alan 26 and Jordan 8). I also have one adorable grandson (Jon Jr 7)and a granddaughter born on Dec 27, 2011! My husband and I have been together for 21 years.
I am a Military Wife and very involved in Quilts of Honor. I have a group of ladies in Kansas that do a wonderful job of putting out "Quilted Hugs of Gratitude".
I have been quilting for over 15 + years. I enjoy all forms of quilting and love to make my own patterns. I am the coordinator for Quilts of Valor in Salina, KS.
I have a Janome 6600 and Janome 623E Sewist.
My grandmothers both quilted and did many other forms of crafts. I have followed in their footsteps. My favorites are Quilting (Of Course!), Quilling and Crochet.
We were, but I guess not officially! Anyway, welcome friend!
Are you handling all this hot weather? It was a cool 90 here yesterday, felt wonderful. But today back up to around 100. We actually sat outside for a while last night. It was so nice.
I need to make some calls to try and find a piece of fabric that a friend and I both need to make our Buck a Block quilts bigger. I found numbers for shops that have this fabric on the internet, so guess I had better get at it. Then I hope to get some sewing done today.
