Sounds like you'll be busy the next few weeks. Glad that things are going well on that front. I got up early this morning and pieced the backing for DD's picture quilt. I hope to get it to the lady who quilts for me today and maybe get it back in time to bind it for DD's birthday. That may be a stretch, but I can only try.

I signed up for this mystery quilt program from one of the quilt shops I found on line. I've always thought a mystery quilt would be fun. I'm about 6 weeks behind, but I'm hoping to start on that later today. I've finished 2 UFO's in the last 2 months, so I'm going to treat myself to this new project.

I gave up sewing for Christmas years ago. I never managed to fiinish anything and it just stressed me out. Both families have cut back on giving gifts, so I don't have much to shop for other than DD and DH. I usually do make our Christmas cards, but that usually only takes a day or so.

Will probably be the weekend before I get to do any sewing. How's your Christmas sewing coming along?
DH arrived home last night. He had not slept in 40 hours by the time he made it to Tulsa. He didn't last long last night once he shaved and showered. He actually worked today, but he is currently crashed out in the recliner. It's good to have him home, even if he is comatose at the moment.

I should of put the LOL. I used to think LOL was little old lady. But, now I know it's laughing out loud. But, it was fun and you are very sweet. You're the type of person I JUST LOVE. No really. This I am not joking. You care for others and being fearless to help. If I lived near you I would want to meet you in person and have a great friend.

Thank you for your thoughts. It was somewhat silly the cranberry thing but when I first heard the word, I thought why would it have that name? Like motherboard, or PC bus inside these computers. Mouse and many others. Then I saw it written and knew that my friend with her Southern voice had me going...... we are both rather silly gals. She had fun with me for a time. But, I have found this site really wonderful. Happy to be here. Thanks again.

About Me
Hi! My friend Mary has been telling me I should start a blog, but I've been resisting. Not sure why, but I suppose it's because I hesitate to add one more thing to a long list of things to do!
I'm absolutely addicted to quilting! I've been sewing for over 30 years, quilting for the last 20. I have my own machine quilting business, www.keepinyouinstitches.com. Married 27 years to the most talented and smartest man, we have four grown children, three of them married and one beautiful daughter living on her own. We also have three beautiful grandsons with another grandhchild on the way. I'm a Christian, I love most things domestic, LOVE milk chocolate candy, reading, walking, Big Band music, Michael Buble and olidies rock, and fabric!
My husband and I had a few different businesses in the automotive industry for 25 years, but during that time he also taught himself everything about computers and loves to program them. I could list all of his talents and everything else he's done, but that would take pages, and this is supposed to be about me I guess.
I belong to our local quilt guild, have served as secretary, a board member three times and newlsetter editor three or four times. I worked at our local quilt shop for a brief stint and have made numerous samples for them as well. I also belong to one daytime group that also meets once a month in each others' homes, Ladies of the Day! You can see what kind of a sense of humor these ladies have. They are some of my closest friends, even thought most of them are closer to my mother's age.
