Bloom Creek Quilts for Sale

Posted on October 30, 2011 at 12:08pm 0 Comments

For those of you who might be interested, I've added a new category to my web site called "Bloom Creek Quilts for Sale".  I'm busting at the seams with quilts and must make room for my newer quilts, so I've decided to sell some of the quilt models that were used on my pattern covers.  Happy quilting to all of you. . . . Little Baby Stillwell

In my haste this morning to blog about my trip to Connecting Threads, I hit the post button too quick! I had more to say! I had originally planned on surprising Teri by showing up at her baby shower, but she decided to deliver her baby four days before the shower! So, I surprised her at the hospital. She is doing great and baby Tyler is adorable! He has the most beautiful head of hair. In the end, her early delivery worked out well because I was able to see the baby. . . twice! Congrats to the… Continue

Friends at Crafts Americana Group

I'm back home after a fun-filled, action-packed, four-day trip to visit my friends at Crafts Americana Group. Karen already beat me to the post about my trip and even had a slide show! (Although, I would have edited out about half of the pictures she took of me!!!). We had so much fun, and as always, it was great to see everybody. Sure wish I lived closer. Here are a few shots from our quilt shop hop day, shopping day and sew night. (I'm going to post the paper piecing show and tell photos in… Continue

Getting ready for market!

Posted on March 20, 2009 at 6:24am 5 Comments

As you may have noticed, I'm not very diligent about adding posts to my blog. This goes for the blog through my web site as well! I'm working 10-12 hours a day right now in an effort to finish new quilts, finish writing instructions and having new patterns printed in preparation for International Quilt Market in May. This year it's being held in Pittsburg, which means I will need to have everything completely ready to be shipped in about 6 weeks. For those of you who might not be familiar with… Continue

Hi I was looking at pictures of your 1930's quilt from the last exchange. You mentioned 1930's white fabric. I have a collection of all colors. I'm not sure what you meant by white 1930's. Is there a print on the white. Did you applique the whole hexagon piece on a solid background. I love it. What a clever idea. Me I have no imagination. I think I fell down the stairs too many tines. Hi Vickie - received message re fourth fabric exchange. Yes put me on the list. From what I understand you send 3 5" charm squares of civil war reproductions to each member of the exchange of which we will receive a list with their adresses. We will then get a pattern as to what we will make with these squares. If this is correct let me know. Is there a deadline of when we need to get our squares to each other? Thanks Vickie.
