Been a part time quilter for about ten years. Looking forward to becoming a full time quilter soon. Like to do string quilts, quilt as you go and hand quilting. Would like to have more time to be in my sewing room. DH is looking forward to retirement this year. I will be working part time to support my fabric habit. Trying to learn how to use up stash. Have two DD and two grandsons.

This is the creek behind our house. That was last year and this year we are getting good snow too. I am one of those nuts who love snow. Yes even getting out in and playing. My sewing machine sits in front of a big window and sometimes I get distracted looking outside.
Vickie the photo of snow is that near you? i would just love that, had snow when i was a child but where i live now only see it far off on the Alps. I know too much snow is not fun but have always thought be nice to sit inside and sew and see the snow out the window! I am enjoying looking at this site to see what others are doing, best wishes, Pat in New Zealand
We used to live east of Kendallville...actually between Waterloo and Hamilton. We downsized 2 years ago and moved from 8 1/2 acres in the country to an addition in Fort Wayne. Having grown up and lived in the country all my life, it was quite an adjustment! However, it is all working out ok. Keep in touch!
