I live on an acreage with my husband and am a mother ,grandmother and greatgrandmother. I have quilted for about 20 years. I started Dear Jane last year and do have problems with paperpiecing as this is new to me. We have 2 alpacas and 3 potbelly pigs. I also make cards and spin the fleece from our alpacas.
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
I'm making the food quilt for my husband. He loves the Churn Dash pattern (I let him pick his favorite pattern) and then it'll be sewn into a throw quilt for him for the couch. It'll be called "Churning Stomach" because of all the food fabrics. :)
I love your Dear Jane blocks - I can't wait to have that many done!
Willie, that is one magnificent quilt. Anyone would love to sleep under it. The different patterns that show up when you join the blocks make it astonishing. You have miles of seams in there, don't you? Great job.
