Well I was looking through some quilt that I had quilted back in the (way back) past and found one that I must have just gave up on and was not happy with it so I put  a binning on and called it finished . I think that I have come a long way in my quilting that I'm going to go back and redo this quilt. I love the fabric and how it was pieced so I want it to be quilted better.…

Ann, the fusible fleece is acting as the batting in this pattern. You would fuse the fleece to the fabric then spray baste it to the the stabilizer. I would probably use a method similar to Hoop Sisters instead.  A piece of polyweb stabilizer, batting, and fabric layered together then hoop all 3 layers.  The polyweb keeps the batting from stretching and keeps it from catching on the feed dogs. I use this method to avoid tearing stabilizer off the back of blocks.

Ann, thanks for the comment on my quilt.  That curved border is one of my favorites.  I measure and mark the starting and ending points of each set of curves and then use a Fine Line curved ruler to stitch it.

Your shop hop trips must be fun. Last time we were down we found several good ones between Baton Rouge & NO - my DH & DSIL are soooo patient!

Hi Ann, your magnolia quilt is beautiful! Where in LA do you live? My DSIL lives in French Settlement and our Niece lives in Prairieville. Your quilts are great - love the colors...

Ann I am glad that I could give you that news so that you can look forward to their next one for a whole year.  At least you are notified to save some money to buy all the design packs with.  If it is in B.R. than maybe it will be where you could stay with me and wouldn't even need a hotel room.  You could even park your camper here and our hubbies could play together while we are gone.

I don't have any software for my machine except for the free explorations sizer and the Art Link that you download for free. If I cannot do it with those then I am out of luck.  DH doesn't like me to waste money on those kinds of stuff.  I have had a few chances to get some kind of software at a reduced price but haven't had enough to do it with. I haven't figured out the multi hooping yet.

Ann the AG Event was wonderful and they decided today that there will be another next year and probably in B.R. again.  They(Allbrands and Brother) will announce at a later date just when and where.  I hope they find a place with a bit larger room so that things won't be quite so crowded.  It was a wonderful show and I am sure that since you have a machine with the larger hoops you would have loved it.  I just hope thatt by the time of next year's event I will have saved up enough money to be able to get a new machine with the larger hoops.  I just hate that most of the projects that we did were sixed for the 8x8 hoop.  I have 4x4 and 5x7.  Just 2 sizes on the Deco 340.Maybe I should send you my CD for the projects and be done.  LOL

Ann I guess if I hadn't already paid my money then I just might be persuaded to skip it but I am going although this has been  2 weeks of misery.  I am having a flare-up of arthritis in my hands and they hurt.

Ann sorry but I was gone again, the AG Event is on March 22 & 23 at the Crown Plaza Hotel off the interstate in Baton Rouge. I signed up thru Allbrands Sewing Center in town and the fee was $99. They only have 200 seating capacity and I am so glad I made it. Do you think you will try for this?
