It was a beautiful day here in Ontario , couldn't get out and walk but I spent some time in the yard .Hubby felt sorry for me and was running up and down the stairs doing little chores that I usually do .After about the 20th time he got a good idea what I go through everyday LOL .

Couldn't get down to my sewing machine so i worked on my embroidery and had a few chuckles watching Donald Trumps show tonight , had to do something to amuse myself .My legs better feel better tomorrow we had to… Continue

thank you neighbour LOL. Not quite close enough to meet for tea regularly but maybe a "sew day" sometime? I am starting my first baby quilt (needed in 3 weeks LOL) so need to get off my couch and "get sewing" LOL.

Thanks so much for the very nice compliment.. our group really enjoyed making it! Last year we did one in civil war fabrics. A picture of it is also in my photos. This year one of the ladies wanted to do baskets in 30's repros... Our little club has 8 members, we as a group have over 225 hours in quilting alone.

Hi:
Yes, I had a wonderful vacation beside me getting sick. I saw a lot of things while I was gone. My SIL went with me and we got to visit a quilt museum in San Jose. Did I send you any of those quilting pictures? My grand daughter is coming up from Houston and she is the one that is I am going to a project with her. She is 11 now. I made her a Halloween previously and it sounds like she loved it. I am glad that I can return to my quilting now. lol
Thanks for all of your help. Paulette

Hazel--i love your quilts, especially the double wedding ring. My daughter has asked for one when she gets married. Fortunately, she is not quite 18, a serious musician who just can't imagine anyone being more exciting than hours on the piano. That will change, but hopefully not for a good while--time enough for me to grow into making a double wedding ring?

Thank you Hazel regarding my grand baby. I think she looks so sweet. I can't wait to see both of my grand daughters. It is too bad that I live in TX and them in CA but CA is too expensive!!

Thanks Hazel for the compliments. When I look at some of the pictures that others have posted I feel a little inadequate in my results. But that is how we learn, ask more questions, look and listen more and in the end do more. Quilting is a great thing to do. Again thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for that info, Hazel. I did choose to skip the Creativ festival this spring - as I'm going on my first shop hop on Thursday - small one, but nonetheless!
Busy weekend!!! Glad you could go and share some of the photos - thank you :)

Hi Hazel: It's too bad that you had to leave the Binbrook show so unexpectedly, and I'm sorry to hear of your friend's loss. There were four of us in our group from Norfolk and we were there from about 10:30 to 1:30 and enjoyed the displays very much. I was a good girl and didn't buy anything from the Vendors - of course I want to be loyal to Quilters' Haven!! I hope you were able to meet and visit with Karen in her booth there. Hugs, KLB

Hi Hazel..

Thanks for the block size, smaller than I thought, but I actually prefer the smaller blocks, & more chance to use more scraps, right. Now, I have new project in the wings!

Thanks!
Nancy/NC...
