graph paper

does anyone know where i can buy fabric that looks like graph paper. i have a running gag going with a quilter friend in NY, i love using graph paper and she hates it, so whenever I can send her something on graph paper I do. I would love to make her a pillow with this fabric. jo

better than a grandmother

Posted on February 24, 2009 at 11:30am 3 Comments

Having a great day. I've just been told by my next door neighbor's 7 year old daughter that i'm better than a grandmother. Is that good or what. She takes very good care of me. she visits me often so I don't get lonely for my own granddaughters. I teaching her how to sew and quilt, she just made a bunny, and loves going thru my stash looking for material she likes to make pillows with. So when I have a bad day I think of her and her enthusiasm and smile. From better than a grandmother JO

Jo, both my father-in-law and my grandmother had severe diabetes - my grandmother was also an amputee. I know it is a very challenging disease to cope with and I hope that this surgery will put you on the road to recovery. You will be in my prayers - enjoy your visit to the ocean and the very best wishes for a successful surgery.
