I'm in Ecuador, on vacation with my daughter, who has been an exchange student here for the last semester.  We just spent the last week in the Galapagos and now are back with her host mom, Margarita for Christmas.  Today is the big celebration day here and we've been cooking for hours, preparing to go to a family home for the feast and gift opening.  Of course I made a quilt for Margarita - can't wait to see her open it tonight!…

As many of you know, I now work for Martingale, home of That Patchwork Place.  I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to find another job in this industry and to continue working with creative quilters, knitters and crocheters.

Yeah it seems that people are starting to ask my name..before it was always just a screen name and I have always signed on as betweens and now people are more comfortable with the internet they like the first name basis...

I can`t believe they now have 31,500 members on this site...they are very close to TQS (the quilt show)!

I still remember the beautiful picture you sent me of a lovely flower when I was complaining about our cold weather one day.Hope all is well with you. A great deal has happened here but we have survived. I bought a new Janome Memory Craft 11000 a couple of weeks ago and am loving it. Miss you.
