- I have worked for Connecting Threads in Customer Service for over 10 years. You wouldn't believe all the nice quilters I have met by phone. I also test and sew some of the patterns. I have been quilting for over 20 years, and, sewing way before that. Outside of work, I belong to 2 guilds, and a fiber arts group. I enjoy taking "new method" quilting classes locally or on-line. Presently, I am exploring the wonderful quilting world of embellishing, thread painting, and fiber arts. My next project could come from anywhere, i.e., batiks (my favorite), 30's, or civil war era. Too many projects , sew little time.
I have a wonderful husband, and 2 juniors - daughter in high school, and a son at WWU. We have 4 cows, 4 black dogs, some outdoor and 2 indoor kitties, about 70 blueberry bushes and a partridge in a pear. Well, that last one is not true, but we do have 2 goldfish in the cow water tank. Don't ask.
