Dear Kwiltlade,
I have been commissioned to come to your house to take a picture of you and ALL your quilts so they can be downloaded on your CT page. They are all so beautiful and you need to share them with the rest of the world When would you like me to come over?

Good Morning Lynn; I got the "Kitty In The Window" quilt done. So now I am sorting the pieces from the table and going to do something with them now. Get them all used up. Thinking about making some things for the drawings at the ladies meeting at the church next month. Also some more table runners to take over to the Hospice House in Creston. I enjoy quilting different things and giving them away. That's just me. Have a great day and Happy Quilting

Hi Lynn. It certainly is a small world! I don't belong to the Friendship Quilters but I have heard of them. I've worked 2nd shift for the past 12 years and have never really been able to join any groups that meet in the evening. What night do they meet? I was just at the Moose Patch last week. It's handy having a quilt shop right here in town.

Hi Lynn. It's my husband who is cousins with Audrey E. in Waverly. I'm originally from Aplington, but live in Marion now. I haven't been to the Moose Patch for a very long time. Deb from the Moose Patch use to come to a quilt retreat that I go to every November.

Good Evening Lynn; That's alright I am sure we will have another project in the future, just didn't want to leave you out and you wanted in. Sorry if I bugged you to much about the group quilt. I just finished my cat quilt this afternoon. I will be posting a picture of it on my page here pretty soon. Turned out pretty good if I say so myself. I think I will be taking this quilt to one of the county fairs to show. Have a good night and thanks for letting me know.

Good Afternoon Lynn; How is your weather there? Sun is out here right now.About the group Quilt, I have a pattern that a lady handed me in the quilt shop a couple three weeks ago. Every lady who is in on the project will make 128 6 inch squares out of light print fabric and another 128 6 inch squares of med to dark print fabric. What I did was divide the 128 med/dark prints up almost evenly. Then when I get the list of all the ladies doing the quilt I will let everyone know how many they are to send to each lady. Along with the squares we are sending a label for that person to put on her quilt that she makes. If you get the magazine "Quilt" the feb/march 2009 issue has a quilt that is similar however they called it Cottage Romance and it is made with 6 7/8 inch squares. Our quilt pattern is made with 6 inch squares. After everyone sends there squares off to each lay, everyone can quilt there quilt the way they want to, no time limit, no color scheme, no race. When everyone gets there squares you will have all 256 squares to do the quilt. If you send me your email address I will send a copy of the pattern the lady gave me in the quilt shop. After you get your squares you will match them up dark and light and med and light and then cut them at a angle to make triangles and then sew them together. Pick your design and make a quilt. I sure do hope you join in we would love to have you doing the group project. Along with the squares we are going to be sending a label along with them so everyone can sew them on the quilt they make. You can have anything you want on the label. We will probable exchange addresses on our personal pages. Mine is already on my page so everyone will have it already. Let me know what you think. Happy Quilting

Good Evening kwiltlade; How are you this fine cold night? It suppose to be getting warmer over the weekend I sure hope so. I'm froze. ha ha I know your new to the group, however I wanted to check to see if you were interested in doing the group quilt with us. Trying to get my lists ready for the next step. If you have not been able to read all the information on the group site about the quilt. The quilt is called "Scrappy Friendship Quilt" I think it is going to be a very fun and neat thing to do. There is 9 patterns all the ladies have to choose from and it will be very interesting to see just how many different materials we all get from all the ladies doing the quilt. If you need more information just let me know. You have a good evening and I will talk to you soon. Happy Quilting
