Well I haven't had one this bad in a long time. The whole week was bad which should have been a sign. Anyway I started sewing on Saturday wanting to get some of the birds in the air blocks done, only to realize that the half square triangles were turned the wrong way. so I started ripping seams. Yuck! So today I figured that I would start piecing the mystery quilt. Everything was going together nice until it was time to piece the blocks together when I realized that once again the half…

While binding a quilt in December I decided to finish a quilt a month. I looked around my sewing room and saw all the unquilted tops laying around yelling at me to finish them. So on a mission I went. So far I'm bearly on track. I get a quilt completed by the end of the month. I'm the only quilter in my family so I guess I'm just looking for a little encouragement or just a kick in the rear.

Leah it was nice talking to you too. I bet you have more talent than you give your self credit for. We all are hard on ourselves. How long have you been quilting? Are you going to add more photos of what you have done. Love your kitty. I would like to some more of your work.

Thank you for your comment on my blocks re: Mystery 2014. As far as selecting neutrals the best way is to go for value. A red see-thru visor (I forgot the name for this gadget) helps with picking the lights/mediums/darks in your neutrals. I hope this helps you in your selections of neutrals/earth tones.
