I've been very quiet here, but I wanted to share this quilt.
After taking classes twice now with Jacqueline De Jonge, I have my first of (at least) 4 quilts completed.
I had it quilted by a friend who has quilted other of Jacqueline's quilts and did a wonderful job with it.

I was thinking of making more blocks, and thus the flying geese in the corners - I ran out of the black, and it is pretty impossible to get. Not to mention I'm supposed to be stash busting with this new method!
I also have started up a Square in a Square group here - I thought it would be fun to discuss using this ruler with others.…

Gee, I don't blog much, do I? lol...
Anyways, I went on a 9 store shop hop this past Friday - I think I'm still recovering!
I have a renewed interest in my Square in a Square ruler and am attempting to make a block without instructions - lol, hopefully 3rd try is the winner! This IS the first time I'm using it.
I also created a new group for Square in a Square - it is waiting on approval.

I just noticed that Connecting Threads has the TrueCut My Comfort ruler!
Very tempting... As an ambidextrous cutter that needs to be careful with my wrists, I'm very interested in trying this out.
Has anyone else tried/bought this cutter?

Linda, you might want to let people know about your Square in a Square group, and include a link to the group, by writing a blog about it.
