That is my room. I am working on a king size quilt made from scraps. Directions said that a smaller quilt could be finished in an afternoon. What a joke. I started this in January. I am close to putting it together to begin quilting. Whatever can go wrong, has gone wrong. I worked one whole afternoon and had to undo everything I did. Oh well....
My dad had ulcerative colitis. Your daughter is so young to have this, you know.
What time does the group meet on the last Wedn. of the month. My problem is that I don't know what I would do. I don't know how to hand quilt... but would love to learn.
All your quilts are beautiful. I hope one day I can do as well.
Sandra, Grove City is just a few miles south of Columbus. I have a Gammill long arm without the computer so that means everything is hand guided. I haven't used it as much as I would like but hope to get back to quilting more in the near future.
Welcome to the Do You EQ? group Sandra. We have various skill levels among the members of this group. Some, like me, are still in the process of just learning to work with this excellent designer software. Others have been using EQ for years and are quite accomplished. Glad you have joined us, and join in on the conversations.
Hi Sandra, thanks for the nice compliment on my baby quilt. I don't think you are a member of the OH quilters group. Come check it out. They are a wonderful bunch of ladies - so much fun - and so much talent! I've had a chance to meet quite a few at the big quilt show in Columbus and about 8 of us got together last fall at a central meeting place. Amazing how you can instantly feel like good friends! Please come join us in the group.
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
