It's for machine quilting with your domestic machine - does anyone own one? If you do/did, what do/did you like/dislike about it? I'm looking at the original that will enable me to quilt while sitting down. I'm just tired of wrestling with the quilts to quilt them on my domestic sitting on the old kitchen table. I saw one at a…

Back in Jan, someone posted a link for a BOM. Each pattern is free if you 'purchase' it the same month that it's released... .$1.00 after the next one comes out. I signed up and had downloaded but not printed out Jan-April - but then got a virus on my computer and lost the link and my downloads along with 95% of my vacation pics.
I'd really like to get the link again - and this time, I'll print out the patterns - not trusting them to my computer again (even if this is the first time…

I just noticed that I haven't blogged in awhile, but I have been busy.
This quilt was made for DH's gson who is getting married in just over a week. He's a BIG University of Michigan fan and his bride to be is becoming one. I had the top done in early Feb but had to wait for my favorite LA to have time to quilt it for me. I got it back this past Saturday and had the binding and label on that same evening. The back is UofM maize but it looks more like a buttercup yellow in the pics…

Thank you, Sunshine!
I am working on my quilt prioities for the month of Nov. that I post in the group discussion on Karen's UFO group. It keeps me hopping!
Hey lady...another season is about to begin and just want to send my thoughts...
LOL.......!!!!!!
Our friends had a problem years ago with their computer and they were able to retrieve everything...even pictures. Did anyone try to do that? All those patterns and pictures...yikes. I rely way too much on these darn machines, but it's what we do! Glad you got to get away, but know what you mean about coming home to the catch up stuff! Just the mail!!! Take care...
Hi, in response to your question about the thread I use, The light color is just a chepy poly thread that My local Fabricville sells in the large spool it is 3$ for a huge roll, so very cheap( I used it because when i tried it it blended in pretty well. The other one I used is a red one that is Very nice it is Coats & Clark 100% polyester covered polyester( it also says Dual Duty XP Allpurpose) it is the nicer of the threads, But I didn't want to switch back and forth by color and this was my first applique by hand so it was an experiment...I learned how to do the appique by hand by watching the tutorials at this website...

hope this helps...she also has a new BOM up for this year if you wanted to try her process out...
That must be one of the special things about my quilt---that it was named after a special person, right?
Thanks for the information Sunshine. I will have to keep a look out for it.
Love the sants wallhanging...nice to see you back on!!! Go PACKERS!!!!!
Sunshine, I was just admiring your "Santa's Projects" quilt. Can you tell me where I might be able to obtain the pattern.
