Hey, Rockford isn't that far from me. About an hour and a half. I have yet to get up there to do some shop hopping. Probably next month or so. If you'd like I could let you know when my friends plan a trip.
It is and I get so many compliments on it. I was kinda afraid to use it the first time, but my friend is a good teacher and was patient with me. I have quilted 6 quilts on it so far, and now my 25 year old is planning to learn.
Thanks! The weather here has been rainy. Some snow in January, but mostly just cold and wet. My daughter goes to school in Rochester NY, she sure has seen some snow so far. Boy, that groundhog sure got around, HA! I would go for the early spring also! I have enjoyed getting back into quilting. I have a friend with a long arm, she lets me come over and quilt. Don't think I would have gotten back into if she didn't get me motivated. She's the best.
Hi Valerie, Happy Mothers Day and thanks for the invite. If I'm there long enough maybe we can get together. The UFO's that is why I joined this group too. I have finished 3 plus did 2 baby quilts that I needed done this month. On Tues we have TUFO, you tell what you are going to work on that evening or day and then report it on Wed. Same for WUFO if you can't do it on Tues. Fun to hear what others are doing. One stitch at a time and it will get done.
