Dear friend you were on my heart today. You are not forgotten.Sometimes I visit here just to remember your kind words.
Yolanda - I considered you my Dear Friend and I will miss you so much.
I am so sad, you were an important part of my day, that I really looked forward to. I can only hope you did not suffer in your passing, I did not have the privilege to meet you in this life and look forward to meeting you in God's house.
Good Bye for now Sweet, Kind, Generous and Loving Yolanda
My condolences to your family and friends - I wish there was some way to send this to you personally and to let you know how much Yolanda meant to us here on QWU, she was a part of our daily life
I have not been on the computer very much lately, but do check in quick to see what everyone is doing. Glad to see you found a new place to live - too bad you have to wait so long though. Your boss is so lucky to have you, I am sure her son will take comfort in knowing that you are there for her. Hope her health holds and she doesn't suffer through her treatments.
I will keep my fingers crossed that you get the news you want from your DD, I would love to have Grandchildren, but my kids are not settled in live and ready for kids yet.
The Quilts For Kids doesn't look like it will happen as I can't find a hospital or organization that is interested or has a need - they say that they get quilts from local guilds and individuals which is good - I am still checking around though.
We had a good meeting with the designers and they now understand that we know what we are doing...not the first house we have designed and we do know the building codes - my husbands father was a carpenter and my husband could go write for his carpenters ticket if he wanted. We know what we want and just need them to draw up the blue prints so they are ready when we decide to move. Don't know when that will be, could be a couple of years yet.
Must go and get to bed, I hope to finish the quilt top tomorrow and take it to the LAQ on Tuesday for them to quilt it on Wednesday.
Take care.
Gaile
I'm keeping very busy looking for a job, but I also have much more time to socialize - this morning I'm meeting friends for breakfast.
I'm sorry, I've never heard of the KT Nine Patch. Perhaps you can find out what KT stands for? Then I can try searching again.
Happy Quilting
Becky Graham
