I did dust off my machine...started with a small project. Had enough fabric from a quilt to change the cuffs on a set of pillowcases to go with it. It has got me back to planning something bigger. I would rather be outside in the garden but I think that will be a couple…Continue
I have a new granddaughter to delight in. Miss Kendyl arrived a week ago. DH drove to Minnesota to pick me up. Now we are home. I have been away from home for a month, babysitting and running errands and anything extra needed.
Great fun! Exhausting. My 2 year old granddaughter and I spent almost the whole month hanging out together. I guess she was crying for Bubbwa often and on after we left. Poor baby.
Next week is quilt retreat. I'd better quit knitting and get organized…Continue
I have finished the Dream Scape fiber art; however, the picture below has the sharks cut off, so will have to redo that picture. Also did a painting that I plan on making into a fiber art piece and have put that one below.…Continue

Bright sunshine this morning - predicted 78 today and 80 tomorrow. YEAH!! Finally!! Love the warm summer days.
Finally getting a small sewing area set up in my bedrom. Our apartment is just too small to try to set it up here in the living room or dining area. And did a bit of sewing yesterday afternoon. Now need to get out some of the material i want to use. Do not have much, but am sure I will have the colors i want. Will be good to start sewing some again.
I've been away from home for a month, now that I'm home I feel that I have a lot of work to get back to...housework, yardwork, office work, and most importantly studio work. Instead of looking at the full scope of it, I've just broken down the list and will take it one task at a time and one day at a time.
Yesterday, I was able to make from start to finish full length drapes for our bedroom door wall lining and all. …Continue
Being a bit early for work this morning I was checking email on my ipad when I came across a "Going Out of Business!" email from Hancock Fabrics. I moaned "Oh no" and my male coworker asked what was wrong. I explained that a fabric store was closing and he (trying very hard to work up some sympathy for me) shook his head slowly and said "Oh, and that's not something you stock up on! Is it?"
I’m finally making progress on my “Delectable Pathways” quilt. (I’m calling it “Peggy’s Sistine Chapel.)
However, I took time out this week for a doll dress for Dolly for the April KAL, “Sisters,” in the Götz Doll group on Ravelry.
