. You an also find them under the Freebies tab, under Downloads.
So Maryann, my cousin… Continue

After getting all those opinions on Option A & Option B I decided on an option C! After I looked at all the fabric I had I realized I wouldn't have enough to bind the Yellow or Orange versions. I really love how the red and blue look together and they match my living/dining rooms since I have red curtains and blue glass all over. Tthese placemats go together so quickly. I adore… Continue

Here at Connecting Threads, we were given a little challenge to pick one of the new Stash Builder Samplers and make a project or 2 with them. The one I chose is the Fat Quarter version of the Ecosystem Sampler. The colors are perfect for some beach house projects I've been wanting to make.
I made 4 placemats and a table runner. The placemats are a pattern in… Continue

Recently we had a flag kit for sale, that required quite a lot of curved piecing. We've had so many questions about this technique, that Sharla and I put together a quick video to demonstrate
. Hope this helps!

My Dad has been bugging me for years about making him a quilt using his Crown Royal Whiskey bags and I have been putting him off for years. Finally I had a weak moment and relented, I can only say I was pregnant at the time and my brain way hormonal. Since I was pregnant I didn't actually get started on it since I had a baby room to do and a baby quilt to make and then..... I had a baby and worked on nothing but feeding and changing the… Continue

I didn't get as much done tonight as I'd like...there are 5 borders on this puppy - 3 are pieced and one has appliqued circles on it, so there is a long way to go. Here is the center top pieced together with the first border auditioned. Geesh that deadline is coming up fast! For those of you wondering what I'm talking about - this will be a CT fabric kit soon… Continue

I had all my fabric cut out (the fabric is Golden Afternoon) and I was about to start on the second one when I had an idea... Option A: I should make them… Continue

A lovely lovely weekend so far! DD is home from school and spent Friday night and most of Saturday with me. But my girl is a social animal, much like her mom, so she's off with friends that she hasn't seen since school started. I probably won't see her for days.
The weather here in the NW is finally beautiful! This morning I had my coffee outside in the backyard, and just now finished… Continue
