If by chance, you live in the Pacific Northwest, I'd like to invite you to the Basin Piecemakers Quilt Show, in Moses Lake, WA.  It's at the ML High School commons on Friday, 10:00-6:00 and Saturday, 10:00-4:00.  Off hand I don't know the exact address but the school is on Sharon St.  You could probably Mapquest it.  It's really easy to find as it's just off the I-90 freeway.  If you can make it come by my booth and say HI.  It really is a great show for such a small town. Quick Little Review: Silk Thread

Last Christmas DH and Connecting Threads did a great job filling my stocking with all kinds of treats, and I wanted to comment on one I've fallen in love with.  I am new to applique and had read about how silk thread can help make one' stitches almost invisible.  I've been appliqueing using the YLI Neutral gift set from CT and it's amazing---the thread is strong, yet finer than a hair, and I'm feeling like an expert with my tiny, really-and-truly-almost-invisible stitches.  How does it compare… Continue
