This is the most recent "stash reduction" project. It might take me awhile if I only use them up in baby quilts. Individually, the fabrics are cute and go well together, but overall, this one isn't my favorite - not sure why. Hopefully someone will love it. It is 42" x 42". Machine quilted (poorly, but we do what we can). It is backed with pink flannel. …

I made a buckeye beauty for a twin bed. I thought it needed special quilting that is beyond my skill level. So it sat. The kid it is for recently graduated and purchased a queen bed for his new apartment. So I'm redoing the borders and expanding it to fit a queen.

It's a dull day here in the East and I plan to hit the sewing machines as soon as I can get the gumption to get out of this chair, and get dressed. Tues. I walked across town to vote at the elementary school. Yesterday I washed all the floors and rearranged some furniture and today I haven't got enough energy to pull a hat off my head. I have been dieting since Thanksgiving. My 45th nursing school reunion is in the Fall. Just my luck, the weight came off my fingers!!! I can't keep my trusty ole thimble on. It keeps flying off. I scotched taped it on!
What thimble do you find works best for you. I still love the metal ones...probably cause, that's the kind my grandma used and taught me to use.
We have had some spectacular sunsets this…

It was a short week, due mostly to a medical procedure, part of my preventative care. (That's the "inside" part.) However, that's over, and all is well.…

Hi all!
Looking at the last time I posted I was shocked to see it’s been almost 2 years! I do pop in from time to time to see what everyone has been working on!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and finding time to do some quilting!
One of my latest quilts I quilted for a customer a few months ago! …
