Hard to believe that in just 2 days time I will be receiving my Bachelor's Degree from Ferris State University College of Arts and Sciences. The countdown to May 4th has begun and I've seen my grades from all but 1 class. My literature final exam and paper has been turned in but the grade won't be released until the 7th! :(  Not really worried too much as I'm pretty sure it will be an A, possibly a B, but it sure would be nice to know.

Returned from a visit to Virginia to see my dad who is in the end stages of Alzheimers. Had a nice visit and even had my son drive from Maryland to see his granddad. That was a nice surprise. It took 2 days to get there and 2 days to get back so our visit lasted only 3 days in order to give hubby a chance to rest before he goes back to work on Monday and his sister and mom arrive from Arizona.

When we returned, our neighbor greeted me with a box and I thought they were my text books…

I have an antique SInger machine in a cabinet, seems to run good. But last night when I was trying it out, sometimes it skips stitches - the top looks good, but the bobbin doesn't catch for about 3-5 stitches. Does anyone know what might be happening and how to fix it? Thanks. Continue

Today is my third wedding anniversary and as a gift, my darling hubby finished laying the laminated wood flooring in my studio! In addition, we now have 3 cabinets to install, 2 book cases to assemble, some antique storage units and a few not so antique to put in. All these will be somewhat temporary until I can get a little spare $$$ to pick out a few more cabinets. We've also picked out the base cabinet units which will make up my work station in the middle of the studio, yet leave room…
