it’s been a long time.. Wow 7 years since I posted. I found out about Linda Sue Robertson passing away. We met on this website and she became a great friend to me through the years. We had many many phone calls. I’ll never forget when we met face to face in Nashville for the first time. So in honor of her memory I’m getting back on here to reconnect with some of the others I’ve met as well. Would love to catch up with you all, make some new friends and share what we all love the most.…Continue

There are alot of us on here and we all want to share our pics of our work ( ufo's and finished projects etc.) as well as our families and things sometimes. Why not send your suggestions to the Administration and allow them to choose what is best for all of us. Granted we all have a way we would like to do things, but they are just trying to protect our privacy and our images!!! At one point I wanted to put up pics of my family but because of hackers and the ones that don't have anything…Continue
I wanted to share with you what happened today. As some of you know my youngest Danny has special-needs. We started a new class today, music therapy through distance learning. He got to go live with a class of other special-needs kids and they did their music therapy. They listen to different types of music and are playing with instruments at the same time. They may all have a drum or bells etc and are going to the beat. They even did the hand-jive!! Remember that…Continue
I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year!!! I personally am ready for this one to be over as it has been a year of test and trials, changes and victories. I have to say don't give up on your dreams and prayers, in his time he will answer. ( He graced me this year with a victory in my families life that has been going on for 10 years).God has brought me through all of it with more wisdom, and closer to him. I will have to agree with Linda, we have to give him our…Continue
Merry Christmas everyone. I had a good phone conversation with Linda Sue earlier and she sounded good. She is home and resting. She asked me to tell everyone Thank you for your prayers and love and concern. She may be returning to surgery at the end of this next week or after the new year. I will let you know. Her and Dale are taking things one day at a time. She doesn't have access to her computer right now and may not for awhile unless her son brings the laptop for her to use to check her…Continue
I would like to wish all of the Quilt with us family a very Merry Christmas!!! Remember Christ first as you go about your holiday preparations. May his love and abounding grace bless each and everyone!!! Much love from my family to yours here in Alabama.
Thanks for the outpouring of responses for her. Here are the options.... I spoke to a customer service rep at CT and she said you can either do a gift certificate for her, place an order and have it shipped to her and tell them to ship to her addresss. Or the suggestions alot of you had were to send your cards etc. with charm packs etc to her personally. Whatever you choose to do is fine. I will still be glad to accept things on her behalf and send to her with…Continue
If anyone is interested how about lets put together a or some baskets after christmas of things to send to "Linda Sue" to help keep her busy and not let her get depressed. It could be fabrics, patterns, etc. , books or anything she could do while recovering.Denise and I talked and I think Linda is concerned this could stop her from sewing. She said they need to figure out ways to allow her to sit at the machine in a wheelchair if need be. If you want I will be glad to accept things on her…Continue

A quick update on Brock.... He did the tilt table test Thursday and he passed out!!! His heart rate went down to 39!!! OMG!!! It took a while for his blood pressure to come back to where they wanted it and in fact he had to have a bag of fluids to help out. So we continue the treatment plan for now and increase one med on monday and we will see her again on the 5th of Oct. He said it really scared him because he has never completely passed out but close enough. It…Continue
Its been a while since I blogged but wanted to stop in and say hello. First I would like to say I see that alot of you are going through trials with health issues with yourselves or family members, well you are not alone! God is there and he is watching over you and will be with you through the test of time. I have been reading a book on adversity and why it comes as well how we are to handle it when it does. I will say that I have been in my own test and trial this…Continue
I would like to thank each and every one of you that have been praying for my boys!!!! We finally made it out of the hospital late Thursday and home on Friday. Forgive me for just sending this as I was trying to unpack and get some rest. Still a little tired. I have carried the stress of it since May. I would like to ask all of you to keep my son Danny who is currently at Children's hospital in Birmingham in your prayers. He is in because of nutrional issues. Also my son Brock who is having cardiac issues as well. The enemy is steady on my families trail. God is bigger but all the extra prayers would be helpful.
Thank you. I will give an update in a day or so.
Thanks to all of you that have comments on this. I appreciate it. We just have to keep praying for intervention along with alot of others. God Bless you!!! I also pray for all the people in other states that have been affected by the weather lately. The tornadoes, floods etc. My heart goes out to them as well. He is in control!!!
I have a special request for all of you to please pray for our Gulf Coast. Here in Alabama we have started to smell oil and it is coming up on our beaches and killing our wildlife. It's really sad to see how it's affecting the beaches etc. and all the people who live around here and their livelihood with the fishing etc. Please remember us in your prayers and ask God to stop the leak and diminish the oil before it gets any worse. Thank you!!!
