Well the Texas heat is cranked up high with rain wished/hoped/prayed for so...... the crape myrtle trees blossoms are falling with the breeze so.........I scooped some up, put white cotton fabric in the old porcelain-to-metal bowl, placed the blossoms on top and then added boiling water w/a splash of vinegar and gently stirred.
