My local quilt guild is having it's bi-annual show next weekend and I am happy to have all my entries done!

Awhile back I entered a VERY amateur yodeling contest and I won the 1st prize, two thousand dollars worth of Wal-Mart gift cards. (The Grand Prize was a trip to Germany) So I bought myself a dining table so I have a place all my own that I can sew on instead of having to clean off a part of the kitchen table. The rest of the money will go for essential stuff, but the table was something I really wanted. Now, I just have to finish painting the basement, and putting the flooring in so I…Continue
Today, I took my first quilt class, we did hand applique, Rose of Sharon. It is in purple and green, I love it. It was a lot of fun. I hope to take more classes soon.
