I have been pretty busy this year making quilts for cash, and quilting other quilter's quilts. I have made several quilts for family and friends as well. I still have quilts to make for 2 more of my three sons(I know...it sounds like an old sitcom), but I already have a good start with most of the blocks already made. I just need to get them put together and quilted.
Joe(my husband) and I have been making progress on my Quilting Cabin. All of the wiring to 20 outlets and 10…

It sure has been a long time since I got on here and posted anything. Joe and I have finally found some time to work on my cabin. It has all of the wiring run for 20 outlets inside, 12 lights inside, 2 grounded outlets outside, and 2 spotlights in front and back outside. All of the insulation is in, and the vapor barrier is up. The ceilings are up and primed, and attic flooring is in. We have the paneling bought(inexpensive to be painted once it is up) and lighting fixtures. We have…

I added some of my latest quilting projects just now. I have made a lot more things, but didn't manage to get photos of all of them. It seems that happens a lot lately.

Sorry it has been so long since I got on my page and said or did anything. I have been pretty busy quilting and teaching quilting at JoAnn's in Waco. I got a new longarm quilting machine. It is a 26" Janome Artistic quilter. I love it. I can quilt an entire king-size quilt in about 3 & 1/2 passes. It runs so smoothly and the bobbins are huge, so they hold a lot of thread. It only takes about 3 or 4 bobbins to do a whole quilt. Love, love, love it. Our 15-year-old granddaughter…

I loaded all of the best photos of my recent quilts. I think there may actually be more. I have everything I've made displayed as samples in the quilting store where I teach my classes. Once in a while one slips by without being photographed.
Things have been really busy around here. Our oldest son and his girlfriend just got custody of his two children, Layni (13) and Cody Lane (10). They had to find a different place to live with enough bedrooms to go around. They just…

I got a new Baby Lock Ellageo Plus sewing machine a few weeks ago. I love it. It has a huge embroidery field. It can use designs directly from your computer, from a pre-loaded memory card, or from a regular computer memory stick. It has loads of built-in stitches, embroidery patterns, and special capabilities. You can even sew letters without having to set up the embroidery module. I just can't say enough about how much it will do and how great it is.
My quilting…

I just wanted to thank everyone who sent me the wonderful Birthday wishes. So far the day has been pretty much like any other. I even ran our vending machine route this morning... It wasn't so bad, really. My middle son is a great help to me and he filled all of the machines while I just drove the ugly truck in honor of my birthday today. Things are really looking up though. My husband is taking me out to dinner and my favorite fabric store as soon as he gets home from work in about an hour.…
