This is my kind of weather........blue sky, light breeze and moderate/unseasonable temperatures! Opened windows and have been sewing on my "mystery quilt" for my second niece. I had to put one block together and out of curiosity, I counted the pieces in the block..........65 of them! Certainly not a record I'm sure and many of you may think that "normal" but, to me it is a lot! Am working on finishing the blocks then cut sashing, make corner pieces, etc and THEN will be able to see my finished… Continue

Finally got back to the sewing machine today and made a fair amount of progress on a UFO. Felt good! Also was able to pick up the fabric for my finishing kit for the latest shop hop quilt. I was good, I "kept my eyes closed" when I went in to get it! Quilt shops - dangerous places for my wallet! The sun was welcome again today. We should have good weather tomorrow also, hope so as roofers are scheduled to replace a flat roof that's leaking. Hope everyone had a good day!

Not only a blessed day, this Easter, but I have learned a lot from new friends in the LongArm Quilters group. How to prep your quilt top and backing!
