This is why I like CT fabric.

I am seeing stars. When CT had the stars fabric on sell a few weeks ago I noticed they had black with what I thought was white stars. Only it is grey. I had three yards of white with black or the darkest blue, which I bought on sale at the local quilt store  years ago ( I thought it was white and navy).  I decided to make it up for a graduation gift.

Need some tips?

How does one control the mess? I start one project, only to have to stop to make a quilt for someone else or it is Holiday time. Now being 4th of July, so I have been cleaning up all the scrapes? I try baskets, containers, boxes and plastic bags, but the scrapes! The jelly rolls!!!. Got any ideas? I have been trying to only buy the fabric to finish a project. I even only bought fat quarter one year.
