Road trip

I recently had an appointment for another blood check in Bangor. I'm doing really well as far as most of my vitals are concerned but the Dr. said my kidneys are only functioning at 30%.  She assured me not to worry that it could be normal for me. I have to go to a pathologist on the 26th of Sept.

My friend Sally took me for the appointment and then we drove down to her aunts in Southern Maine for a few days.  Bud had a fit about me going but I went anyway.  A strange thing happened…

oops, I used the word "cone" instead of spool.

I'm sorry I lead you to believe I'm using the large cones of thread.  I use the insert for those on my serger. I'm talking about the spools of thread that I buy at CT.  It's lovely thread and I always use the cap to hold the thread onto the spool pin.  But it still wobbles. I have tried standing the spool pin up but it still does not feed well.  Does anyone have a suggestion on those?

Connecting Threads, Thread

I love CT's thread except for the fact the hole is two large in the cone.  When sewing it flops around and ends up breaking.  I have tried standing my thread post up but it still wobbles.  Has anyone else experienced this?
